Reviews From Across Northwest Washington
Hot tub, swim spa and sauna owners from Whatcom County down to Snohomish.
“You Don’t Get Randy at Costco When we were shopping for a hot tub, Randy made a comment that stuck with me. He said, “If you buy the tub, you get me.“ At the time I thought it was just a clever sales pitch. If you’re currently trying to decide between buying a hot tub from a local dealer or ordering one from Costco, let this review answer that question. Fast forward to delivery day and initial installation. I have over 25 years of experience as an electronics technician and was doing the electrical hookup myself. Everything checked out, voltages were correct, and yet the spa still wouldn’t cooperate. After several hours of troubleshooting, wiring diagrams, and chasing what turned out to be my own mistake, I sent Randy a message on a Saturday night fully expecting to hear back sometime next week. Instead, Randy responded that evening, pointed me in the right direction, and helped me get the issue sorted out. A few minutes later the spa was up and running. Anybody can help you buy a hot tub. What impressed me was the support after the sale was already complete. Randy took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and help get things working when he easily could have waited until Monday. The Hot Spring Pulse is great, but this review isn’t really about the tub. It’s about the value of having a knowledgeable person who stands behind what they sell and is still there when you need help. Turns out when Randy said, “If you buy the tub, you get me,“ he meant it.”
“We recently purchased a hot tub from Hot Tubs NW and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Jared and Galen are incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job with the installation. They took the time to answer all of our questions about maintenance, water care, and chemicals, making sure we felt comfortable and confident with our new hot tub. Both Jared and Galen were professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. From helping us select the right spa to coordinating delivery and installation, everything was handled seamlessly and with great attention to detail. What stood out most was their friendly approach and willingness to clearly explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. It’s refreshing to work with a company that truly cares about its customers and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. We highly recommend Hot Tubs NW to anyone looking for a hot tub, sauna, or ongoing spa maintenance support. Thank you, Galen and Jared, for making the entire experience so easy and enjoyable!”
“We bought an inflatable spa for my husband a couple of years ago and finally got around to setting it up over Memorial Day weekend. One thing we didn’t think about was needing to properly balance chemicals, so we quickly realized we were in over our heads. We searched for the closest hot tub retail store and found Hot Tubs Northwest. From the moment we walked in, Matheu greeted us and took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our water and tub size. He clearly explained exactly what chemicals we needed for setup, what to add right away, and how long to wait before using the spa. He even gave us a pen and paper so we could write everything down step by step, which made the whole process much less overwhelming. One of the best parts was that he offered to test our water if we brought in a sample, and never once tried to pressure us into buying more than we actually needed. We walked in completely clueless and left feeling confident and taken care of. Matheu’s patience and honesty made us lifelong customers of Hot Tubs Northwest. I highly recommend them for anyone with hot tub or spa needs—especially if you’re new to it and have a lot of questions. Thank you Matheu!! Becca and James”
“Yet another 5-star review for Hot Tubs Northwest, and specifically for Randy Skelton, who went above and beyond to make our experience excellent. It took us over a year to go from “window shopping“ to wet-testing (at HTNW (twice!) and two other spa retailers) to finally purchasing, and he stuck with us patiently the whole time. Of course, I’m not encouraging *you* to take that long to actually buy a spa, just letting you know that if you do need time, Randy will be right there for you to answer questions and provide advice, and we never felt pressured. As a very tall family (I’m the runt at 5’11“) we were hoping to find a spa with a lounge seat that was comfortable for relaxation while also providing hydrotherapy for our tight traps and necks. Randy was totally upfront about which models would fit us and which wouldn’t. We ended up falling in love with a Caldera Tahitian, and its Atlas neck jets. We looked closely at (and wet-tested) two other spas (a Sundance and a Coast Spa) but they couldn’t match the power of the jets and the jet placement for good “tall person“ hydrotherapy. We did not haggle over the price. Randy gave us a solid price, and it was comparable to what we saw elsewhere. Plus, honestly, our opinion of Randy - his wealth of knowledge and free advice - was so high that we would have paid extra to know he’s available to help with future questions. But I honestly don’t think we did pay “extra“, it was a fair price. Lastly I’ll mention that Randy, as he’s done for others, stopped by our yard to help us decide on a good spot for the spa. We had a somewhat tight spot near the house, or a spot about 30 feet away that would have made installation a LOT easier but 30 feet is a lot of distance to walk during the winter cold. We ended up having a small (very sturdy, engineer-designed) deck built so the spa could be right outside the main bedroom. We’re super happy with the spa, and with Randy and Hot Tubs Northwest. We feel like we’re part of the family now, and we are confident that our future questions and needs will be taken care of.”
“BIG Thank you to Debbie, Quinn, and Kyle for helping us to install a new sauna heater ( and fix up our hot tub ) promptly and with with kindness!! YOU are amazing to work with!”
“Absolutely fantastic service from the team at the Lake Stevens location. Jared especially was incredibly kind, super knowledgeable, and truly cares about the customer experience. Prices are fair, the team is reliable, and I’ll be coming back for all my hot tub needs. Highly recommend!”
“I recently purchased a hot tub from Hot Tub Northwest and had the pleasure of working with Tammy throughout the entire process. She was absolutely outstanding! From the very beginning, Tammy took the time to truly understand my needs and helped me select the perfect hot tub for my property on Orcas Island. She guided me toward a model that fit my space beautifully, featured the exact type of jets I needed for the therapeutic benefits I was looking for, and included a high-quality filtration and water purity system that works exceptionally well with my well water while keeping chemical use to a minimum. Tammy was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. She replied quickly to all of my questions and concerns, always with a polite and helpful attitude. What stood out most was that she was never pushy—she genuinely seemed to love her work and truly wanted to find the best solution for me. She put together a complete package that included the hot tub, delivery, and all necessary supplies at a very fair price. The delivery to Orcas Island went smoothly thanks to her coordination. The delivery crew was just as professional—quick, efficient, great problem-solvers, and they placed the tub exactly where I wanted it. After researching many other hot tubs and dealers, I’m so glad I chose Hot Tub Northwest. Tammy’s expertise and care made the whole experience excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with my new hot tub. I highly recommend Tammy and the entire team at Hot Tub Northwest!”
“Debbie at Hot Tubs Northwest made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. She took the time to understand what was best for me and my family and helped me stay within a budget that made sense no pressure, no unnecessary upselling.”
“I didn’t know we had a hot tub store here in Lake Stevens, but I am sure happy I found this place. They have all the chemicals I need for my tub and Mattheu’s service was awesome.”
