Swim Spas

Get a real swim, a full workout, and a warm soak in one machine that runs all year and fits your backyard. We build every swim spa install around Endless Pools® because, after decades perfecting the current, nothing else comes close.

Swim Spa vs. Pool

In Washington, an in-ground pool is usable for maybe three months and sits cold and covered for the other nine, still demanding chemicals, cleaning, and a big share of your yard the entire time. A swim spa flips that math. You swim against a current you never out-swim, in water kept warm 365 days a year. That means the thing you spent real money on actually gets used in February.

It costs a fraction to run, installs where a pool never could, and needs a small fraction of the water and upkeep. The only thing you give up is room to host a pool party, and almost no one misses it once they are swimming year-round.

A Pool and a Hot Tub in One

Many want a pool’s workout and a hot tub’s warm soak. A swim spa is both, in a single machine. Swim or row against the current at one end, then, on most models, move to the warm, jetted seats at the other. On dual-temperature models the swim end and the relax end can each be set exactly where you want them. One install, one cover, one body of water to care for, instead of two separate builds taking over the yard.

Swim Spa Benefits

The advantages that make a swim spa worth the investment, from the current itself to soaking in January, and where Endless Pools does each one better.

A current worth swimming in

The Endless Pools current is deep, wide, and smooth, not the narrow jet-blast of a budget spa. It is a smooth, adjustable current you can swim against as long as your lungs last, dialed anywhere from an easy recovery pace to an all-out sprint.

Fitness that is easy on your body

Swimming, aqua jogging, rowing, and resistance work are low-impact by nature. That is why swim spas serve competitive athletes, people rehabbing an injury, and anyone who wants to stay strong without pounding their knees and back.

Warm water, every day of the year

Heated and insulated like a hot tub, a swim spa is a January machine, not a July one. You swim, train, and soak straight through a Northwest winter instead of shutting it down for the season.

A backyard, not a construction project

No excavation, no year of permits, no acre of yard. A swim spa sets on a pad or a reinforced deck. It delivers the swim without the in-ground price tag or the endless maintenance that comes with a pool.

The Best Swim Spa You Can Buy

We have been in every swim spa worth selling, and we keep coming back to one. Endless Pools invented the swim-in-place current and has spent decades making it smoother, deeper, and more precisely adjustable than anyone has managed to copy. Get in, and you feel the difference in the first ten strokes.

The build backs it up: Tri-thermic insulation, serious filtration, and finishes that still look right a decade in. When you are spending what a swim spa costs, you want the one every other brand is trying to imitate. That is Endless Pools, and it is the only swim spa we will put the Hot Tubs Northwest name behind. Three series, Hydrodrive, SwimCross and RecSport, cover everything from dedicated training to family recreation.

Swim Spa FAQ

Here are answers to the questions we hear most about swim spas. The Learning Center goes deeper on each.

Can you swim in place?

Yes, and on an Endless Pools it feels like open water, not a fight with a jet. The current is broad and even, and you dial it from a gentle warm-up to a pace a competitive swimmer has to work for. You swim continuously without ever touching a wall.

Is it usable all winter?

That is the whole reason to own one in the Northwest. A swim spa is heated and insulated like a hot tub, so a rainy January evening is a perfect time to swim, train, or just soak. An in-ground pool sits under a cover for the season.

How much space does one need?

Far less than a pool, and it can sit above ground on a pad or a reinforced deck. Bring us your space and your goals and we will tell you exactly which models fit and what the install involves.
